03/2021 Our recent work "Pd-Catalyzed ipso,meta-Dimethylation of ortho-Substituted Iodoarenes via a Base-Controlled C-H Activation Cascade with Dimethyl Carbonate as the Methyl Source" was published in J. Am. Chem. Soc.
09/2019 The first asymmetric reaction in our group was published in Chemical Science. In this work, we developed a Pd-catalyzed enatioselective intramolecular carbonylative heck reaction using formate ester as the source of CO.The enatioselective six-membered cyclization process involved in this reaction is uncommon among asymetric domino intramolecular heck reactions, which usually achieve the enatioselectivity for five-membered ring formation. Our reaction was successfully applied to the first asymmetric synthesis of Minalrestat analogues.
